Arlington Transportation: Special Application

Arlington Transportation Partners, business-to-business transportation consultants, had a requirement to design and produce numerous transportation information display units to go in public buildings in Arlington, Virginia.

Exhibit Edge was tasked with the job to design a free standing and wall unit option that would display a large map of the area with information about the various forms of transportation throughout the county including the Metrorail system.

The units not only had to display the large map, it also had to have a place for distributed pamphlets.  Since the map would be replaced regularly, there had to be locked access for that area and an area inside to store additional pamphlets.

We designed the affordable units out of aluminum, Plexiglas, and wood.  They are built in groups of ten and reside in many public buildings in Arlington County.
