Our series right now is about the Exhibitor Manual. Last week I mentioned that next on the list of show services is the Internet Order Form. Well, we are going to skip a week because we want to take this opportunity today to talk to you about the annual Exhibitor show that just happened this past March. I was in Las Vegas, where it is held every year, and had the opportunity to visit the exhibit floor and see many new ideas for you – the Exhibitor.
If you have never heard of the Exhibitor show you can go to Exhibitoronline.com for more information. It is billed as the largest one stop shop in North America for the trade show industry. There are over 250 exhibitors on the show floor. The website mentions that it’s the fastest, most cost–efficient method of finding new partners, products and solutions for face-to-face marketing programs. I can easily say that the amount of training, knowledge, and access to the best the industry has to offer is well worth the investment. Even the exhibit floor can be accessed for free. All you have to do is get there. And considering all the fun we have experienced this season with the weather, Vegas in March is sounding pretty good – – – right?
My favorite part of the event is the new product showcase. Here you will see the latest innovations that have just hit the market. It is amazing. I saw a round conference table and 2 chair combination that came apart and stored into a single flat shipping case on wheels. I saw an inflatable backwall, with full graphics, that fits into a small suitcase (including the pump.) Well, you get the idea. The newest, coolest, lightest, greatest, easiest, funnest (is that a word), and best ideas are highlighted in the new product showcase.
Now, The Exhibitor Lounge also has some exciting news! We are taking the Exhibitor Lounge on the road to Las Vegas next year at the Exhibitor Show in 2015. We will pack up our studio and shoot live from our exhibit location on the show floor. Our idea is to offer you the opportunity to speak up and say anything you want about the exhibit industry. It is a great experience located at the Mandalay Bay resort. A great cost saving tip from Exhibitor Lounge would be to book your room nights directly and early at the Luxor resort next door. You can take the tram or walk through inside connector halls between the Luxor and Mandalay Bay resorts. The room rates at the Luxor can save you 50% or more. We can’t wait to see you there.
